There was a very sad looking young Dunnock in the garden today. Most of the time was spent lazing about on the fence until it suddenly made a swift flight across to the sparrow bush where it stayed, it was still there when I went back indoors.

The squirrel found an aniseed ball in the garden,
I don't think he liked it very much from the look on his face.
I can hear some of you asking what was an aniseed ball doing in the garden ? That is something you will have to ask Tony.
