Time for take off

The Dunnocks that visit our garden are sometimes a strange band of birds. they certainly stand out from the other birds in the garden, they are small brown and not especially noticeable or at least not usually. However our Dunnocks have something that does make them stand out in a crowd!

Things like no tails

A fashion sense all of their own

I like them to be different I like to be different myself.

We have a lot of Sparrows in the garden at the moment but it is still difficult to get them on camera. They must have found a way to move quicker since the Sparrowhawk started to be around more often.

I did however manage to catch one just as it was leaving

Todays photo of the day

Sparrow on the wing.

Just at the point of take off the sparrows feet are still attached to the twig.

Until tomorrow...
