This morning Tony was a bit surprised to see that more than the usual amount had been taken out of the bank by the council. He rang to enquire why, only to be told this happens every 4 - 5 years because there are 53 weeks in the year instead of 52!
Did anyone know about this? Where are all the wages for this extra week? Why have we never heard of it before? What a load of poppycock! (Kept it clean Mum)
My opinion is it is just another way for the government and council to con the people out of a little bit more money.
It's a while since I had a rant I feel a lot better for that.
