The Bank Card saga.

Tony had decided after a lot of looking what camera he wanted to buy. So a quick visit to Leeds was called for, we drove there instead of going on the bus because we thought for once it would be easier.
First stop was the bank so Tony could get out some money he likes to pay cash for things most of the time.
Tony had decided on a Canon 60D, while he went to the camera shop I went for a quick look round the clothes shops,( new pyjamas were needed). For once Tony's shopping took longer than mine, I went for a wander round the charity shop looking for books to read, finally Tony appeared bag in hand happy with his purchase eager to go home and charge the battery so he could try the camera out.

When we arrived home Tony put his battery on charge then we nipped out to Sainsburys to do a bit of shopping. We had only been in there five minutes when Tony's mobile rang. He looked at the screen and said "who's Anonymous ? and why is he ringing me ?" He answered the phone looked in his wallet and said "yes I have" then his signal went.
"you aren't going to believe this" he said "I have left my bank card in the bank in Leeds".
So yes we had to go back to Leeds. We took the shopping home went for the bus, back to Leeds into the bank got the card, into butchers row, picked up some meat, went into Maturi's bought a cafetiere (a nice red one ). Back on the bus and home.
I just climbed in the bath and soaked for an hour. Tony made dinner while his battery continued to charge.
I am glad today is over, tomorrow has to be better, Tony may even get chance to try his new camera out.
